A compassionate and hard-working Learning Support Assistant is required for a lovely secondary school in Newcastle. This is a long-term role to start ASAP. Suitable candidates will preferably have experience working with students who have Challenging Behaviours and/or other SEND needs (e.g., ADHD, Autism, ADD). You will need to be proactive in your approach to working with students and be encouraging, energetic, engaging, and supportive.
You must hold a Teaching Assistant or Youth Work qualification and have a willingness to work with children with SEN needs to overcome barriers to their learning.
