Sutton Coldfield ABC Teachers is currently seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist provision in Sutton Coldfield. Role Overview: Provide 1:1 in-class support for students with varied complex and multiple needs. Adapt to rapidly changing situations and manage behaviour effectively. Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment to help students achieve their full potential. This is a full-time, ongoing role starting September 2024. About the School: Caters to primary and secondary-aged students who have a range of severe and profound needs, with a primary diagnosis of ASD. A forward-thinking, committed school dedicated to meeting the needs of its students and helping them succeed. Puts students at the heart of everything they do, ensuring a supportive and engaging educational experience. Candidate Requirements: Strong communication skills and adaptability in dynamic situations. Effective behaviour management skills. Reliable and committed to providing the best learning experience for the students. Ability to establish positive relationships with students and staff. Suitable references and ability to undergo a DBS check.
