Term time plus INSET Days, 39 weeks. Salary Range: 1 Point 6 – 10 £23,297 - £24,223 Pro Rata Actual Salary Range: £17,472 - £18,167 (Pay rise pending April 2025)

The governors of this large, vibrant Primary School are seeking to appoint a caring and committed Learning Support Assistant.

You will need to be able to work effectively as part of a team and be willing to support every child to be the best they can be.

You will be working in classrooms alongside teachers and with small groups to deliver interventions to support pupils with a range of needs.

This post will include lunch time supervision.

About you The successful candidate will need to have excellent people skills and a warm and caring personality. The ability to communicate effectively with pupils and other staff will also be important.

Good levels of English and Mathematics are essential for the role and we require a Grade 4 or higher GCSE or the equivalent (e.g. Grade C or higher O-Level, CSE Grade 1) in these subjects. You will preferably have had experience in an educational setting; however, opportunities for training are available so this is not essential.
