Our client, a leading specialist school and college in rural Surrey, is seeking enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join their team on a temporary or temp-to-perm basis, making a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable young people. As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll be a vital part of the team, fostering growth and development in an educational setting. Help nurture social skills by encouraging interactions with peers and participation in group activities. Track and document each student's progress, providing valuable insights to teachers, parents, and professionals. Support students' personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, and mobility, ensuring their comfort and dignity. What We're Looking For : A kind, patient, and resilient individual with a genuine commitment to helping children and young people with special needs. A minimum of 6 months' experience in a care or educational setting, ideally with children or young adults requiring additional support.
