Learning Support Assistants
to work in a
Secondary School in Wakefield . The role is supporting students on
a small group and 121 basis , within the school's Specialist Learning Centre and within the main school classrooms. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting older children/young people requiring
EAL or SEND
support in an educational environment. The role of an LSA can be extremely rewarding; successful applicants will need to be positive, flexible, and able to communicate effectively with young people. You will be working together to break down any barriers to learning. You will also be confident in communicating with parents, guardians, and colleagues. Learning Support Assistant roles are initially available on a temporary part-time/full basis depending on your preference, and are working term time only, Monday to Friday.
