£16ph/£115pd Eden Brown are currently recruiting a range of Learning Support Assistants on behalf of a leading college in Greater Manchester. We are recruiting both general learning support assistants along with learning support assistants who will assist learners with complex needs. To support learners with complex needs, you will have experience of working closely with students with physical, developmental, and emotional challenges. Your role is to create an inclusive, supportive, and nurturing environment that enables every student to achieve their full potential. To apply for the role, you will have some previous experience in supporting young people and a sound understanding of the range of issues facing young people with barriers to their learning (including social, emotional, and behavioural). You should also have the ability to motivate students with differing needs and abilities. As a general learning support assistant, you will provide essential support to students across a variety of subjects, helping them succeed in their studies while developing crucial skills for the future. Your role will include working closely with teachers to ensure students are fully engaged and supported in their learning environment. Ideal candidates will have: Experience supporting students in a learning environment, preferably in Further Education A strong understanding of educational support practices Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage students A current DBS on the update service is needed for this role.
