I am looking for an additional Recruitment Consultant to join the team based in Newcastle who can forge and build on existing relationships as well as generate new business.

Exclusive focus on placing supply staff on a day-to-day and long-term basis

Reduced hours during school holidays – term time hours will be 07.00am start

As an Education Recruitment Consultant, you will understand the various needs of the schools and children and will take time to match the best teaching staff for those needs.

What we need from you:

Experience working as a recruitment consultant, ideally in education or classroom setting

Full driving licence and access to a car to carry out school visits

Proven evidence of working to targets

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Great recruiters understand the importance of relationships, and for you to be successful, having the ability to communicate and listen is key.

Key responsibilities:

Maintain and develop relationships with candidates and clients based on trust, knowledge, and openness

Source and interview potential candidates including qualified teachers and support staff in person and via Teams

Carry out business development calls to inform schools of available candidates and identify same day bookings or upcoming longer-term positions

Manage the recruitment process from start to finish

Meet schools face to face by carrying out school visits and review service levels
