The School of Business and Communication wishes to appoint a full-time Lecturer as the link tutor for Business partnerships. This is a fixed term contract until 31 July 2025. We are looking to appoint a candidate who has demonstrable experience and ability both in working with academic partnerships and in the delivery of high quality undergraduate and postgraduate Business programmes. Responsibilities will include: Monitoring and ensuring academic quality standards across franchise programmes. Conducting regular reviews of teaching, learning, and assessment activities to align with the University’s frameworks and policies. Supporting the validation and periodic review of programmes at partner institutions. Working closely with University module convenors, partner module leaders, and teaching staff to ensure franchise delivery aligns with University quality standards. Facilitating joint planning, regular communication, and resource sharing between University and partner staff. Overseeing and supporting consistent delivery of curriculum, assessment, and student support services. We will expect the appointed candidate to have: Specific academic and/or professional expertise in the field of Business. HE quality assurance experience and understand the requirements related to the Office for Students’ B3 metrics. The ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships. The ability to undertake lecturing/assessment duties. Strong communication skills and be proactive and solution focused.
