You will take responsibility for the group tutorship of one or more courses within the School, contributing to the development of existing and new provisions and developing and implementing student assessment strategies. We're looking for someone who is educated to degree level or holds a relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject and has links to the industry, relevant external agencies, and validating bodies. With energy, enthusiasm, and passion for the subject and education, you will hold a qualification in teaching, possess excellent teaching skills, and have relevant teaching experience on BTEC programmes in Business across a range of levels. You will have high personal standards and expectations, good planning, preparation, organisational, and administrative skills, and be able to work well under pressure to agreed deadlines. You will have an awareness of academic quality standards and be receptive to new ideas and initiatives, with a creative approach to problem-solving. The successful candidate will be eligible for any increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost of living review that is due to be implemented imminently.
