Times Higher Education (THE) 'Business School of the Year' 2024 - Chester Business School within the Faculty of Science, Business and Enterprise is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance (TSR3) to join our thriving academic community.

The Business School prides itself on its student focus. You will be joining a collegiate community and become part of a busy, vibrant and creative team delivering our exciting and innovative programmes with an emphasis on continuing professional development, employer engagement and entrepreneurship.

We offer a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in management including accounting and finance, business, marketing, events, international business and international tourism.

At postgraduate level we also have several sector-specific courses including MSc Accounting, MSc Banking & Finance and MSc FinTech & Business Analytics. We are looking for a colleague who can immediately pick up Module Leadership within these programme areas.

You should be able to evidence a flexible and adaptable approach to your work and be able to contribute to several of our Accounting, Banking and Finance courses. We are actively involved in our local, regional communities and at national and international levels. We place significant emphasis on sustainability, technology and innovation, and on the principles of responsible management education. We are ambitious for growth and have an exciting future ahead.

You will have relevant academic and professional qualifications and be an engaged, flexible and active educator at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will be actively involved in research and/or knowledge exchange, with the ambition to help us to deliver our strategic goals. Above all, you will be a team player and will share our aspirations for growth.
