We currently have one full time/open-ended opportunity as 1.0 FTE Grade 7 - Lecturer in Dietetics Glasgow Caledonian - the largest and leading modern university in Scotland - is a vibrant, values-led university with campuses in the heart of Glasgow and London. To support our continuing growth, we are seeking to appoint a new Lecturer in Dietetics within the Department of Occupational Therapy and Human Nutrition and Dietetics within the School of Health and Life Sciences. The department delivers three highly successful programmes: BSc (Hons) Human Nutrition and Dietetics, BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy, and MSc Occupational Therapy (pre-registration). We are committed to providing an excellent student experience and promoting the use of technologies to enhance the quality of our educational provision. As a Lecturer in our Department, you will focus on providing high-quality learning and teaching that is underpinned by scholarly activity. We welcome applications from individuals who will enhance our delivery of and reputation in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, although expertise in other related areas is also welcomed. Applicants should hold a MSc level degree or be working towards a postgraduate qualification in an appropriate area related to Human Nutrition and Dietetics and be a registered Dietitian with the HCPC. Prior experience of supporting student learning, teaching and assessment in higher education and/or in industry/practice settings (e.g., NHS/third sector) is essential. Experience of e-learning and online environments is also desirable. A higher education teaching qualification and/or Fellow status with AdvanceHE is desirable.
