About the Role:

In your role as a Lecturer in Digital at UA92, you will be instrumental in delivering our forward-thinking curriculum, crafted to empower students with the digital expertise needed to excel in a tech-centric world. Your role will involve inspiring, challenging, and guiding students as they navigate the dynamic digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching & Learning:
  • Deliver engaging and student-focused teaching in areas of Computer Science and Cyber Security
  • Curriculum Development:
  • Design and implement forward-thinking curriculum content that reflects the latest digital trends and technological advancements.
  • Student Engagement:
  • Mentor and guide students, fostering a culture of curiosity, creativity, and digital excellence.
  • Industry Collaboration:
  • Cultivate relationships with industry leaders and digital pioneers to ensure our programs remain relevant and cutting-edge .
What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience in teaching at the higher education level, with a strong background in digital technologies and methodologies.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Innovation:
  • A passion for integrating new technologies and innovative teaching practices into the curriculum.
  • Industry Insight:
  • Robust connections with the digital industry and a commitment to staying current with the latest digital trends.
You will need to have good knowledge in two or more of the following areas:

1-Programming and software development (e.g. Python, Java, C++, C#)

2-Web development and digital marketing
  • Knowledge of front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular) and familiarity with back-end development (e.g., Node.js, Django, PHP)
  • Skills in digital marketing tools and techniques (such as SEO, Google Analytics, and content management systems like WordPress).
3-Networking and cybersecurity .
  • Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching).
4-Database systems (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

5-Cloud computing (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
