We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Lecturer in Digital to join our team. As a Lecturer in Digital, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to ensure successful learner outcomes and help every student reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment services to ensure that each student achieves their desired outcomes. It would be desirable for candidates to have experience or a solid understanding of T-Level delivery requirements and DPDD (Digital Production, Design and Development).

Key Responsibilities

Teach students enrolled in a range of digital courses Implement appropriate feedback and assessment systems to ensure learner progress Manage courses or parts of courses including administration and organisation Contribute to curriculum innovation, development, and implementation Maintain a professional learning environment in the classroom Update teaching expertise and skills to continually develop teaching practice Deliver teaching and learning that motivates and inspires learners to achieve Develop assessments and provide clear and constructive feedback to students Supervise practical activities, workshops, and work placements Facilitate learning by selecting material and methods appropriate to student needs Utilise technology, including virtual learning environments, effectively to enable independent learning Develop and use high-quality resources and teaching materials Embed career-related employability skills through teaching and learning Consistently challenge lateness and attendance concerns Establish and maintain relationships with individual students and groups to facilitate awareness of problems and difficulties Take part in reviews of course performance and contribute to curriculum development Participate in the development of external partnerships to enrich teaching and learning Essential Criteria

Possess a minimum of a relevant Level 3 vocational qualification Possess a PGCE/Certificate of education or equivalent teaching qualification Track record of successful teaching experience across a range of levels including up to level 3 Recent industry related experience relevant to the academic discipline Detailed knowledge of relevant course subject matter and examination and assessment requirements Understanding of value added and the use of progress performance measures Experience of developing and maintaining external partnerships to enrich teaching and learning.
