We are working with a proud and inclusive college based in Epsom, Surrey, with good transport links to London to recruit a new lecturer into the Electrical Installations department. This college has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted in all 8 categories and is proud of the feedback from their students that they feel supported and motivated to succeed. The successful candidate will have: Qualified to L3 in Electrical Installation Recent and relevant experience in Electrical work Relevant or transferable skills to be able to teach Experience of various electrical skills and have the enthusiasm and initiative to give the students the very best learning experience Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students. Duties/responsibilities: To teach and deliver in both a workshop and classroom setting for Electrical Installation levels 1, 2 & 3 including the apprenticeship provision To prepare learning materials in varied formats To promote learner welfare and provide support To comply with the relevant Health and Safety legislation in connection with your work To be responsible for the conduct of your class and to support and discipline students within the College policy and procedures to maintain an effective learning environment for all To carry out Continuing Professional Development (CPD) relevant to the role, including subject or professional updates To drive continuous improvement in teaching standards and student outcomes within the college Benefits include: Pension & Welcome bonus of 500 (T&C's apply) Free parking and discounted on-site gym, sports facilities, fitness classes, and day nursery Continuing personal development opportunities and free online qualifications We are interested in anyone who has relevant experience within an educational setting or from industry with the desire to teach and engage with others.
