The Role
The Lecturer in Social Work role involves leading and delivering high-quality teaching for the BSc (Hons) Social Work programme. This includes preparing and presenting lectures, managing assessments, and providing feedback to ensure students develop the knowledge and skills needed for professional practice. You will mentor and support students throughout their studies, conducting practice reviews and providing guidance on placements. In addition, the lecturer will contribute to curriculum development, ensuring it reflects current social work practices and meets professional and regulatory requirements.
About You
We're seeking an inspiring and committed individual with: Current SWE Registration as a Social Worker. A BSc (Hons) or BA (Hons) Social Work degree. A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one. Passion for teaching, supporting learners, and fostering their professional growth.
