Salary: £27,665 to £40,644 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

The Motor Vehicle department has benefitted from substantial investment over the last few years and boasts some of the best facilities in the region for technical training in this subject. Alongside a wide range of resources for training the traditional skills of light vehicle maintenance, learners benefit from access to EV and Hybrid training rigs and vehicles and advanced diagnostic technology for use on the latest models of cars.
As a Lecturer in Motor Vehicle, you should:
Hold a relevant teaching qualification or be willing to work towards
Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or similar)
Level 2 qualifications in English and Mathematics
Provide evidence of continuing professional development
You should also be able to demonstrate:
Evidence of effective teaching/training of a diverse profile of people in a range of relevant disciplines
Experience of assessing the technical skills of mechanics within a teaching/training environment
