Start: September 2024 Permanent contract Full-time The role will involve marking coursework and lesson planning Supporting students’ University applications and overseeing personal statements Providing UCAS references Maintain and improve the standard of academic excellence in the department Play an appropriate role in the pastoral care and counselling of students With the Head of Mathematics, monitor progress of individual students within the department and devise programmes of support as required Candidate specification – What the College are looking for:
UK QTS 2:1 or 1st class degree, in a relevant course Strong academic background Good to Outstanding teacher observation grades Strong classroom management Strong record of pastoral work with students An enthusiasm and interest in the College’s well-being programme The ability to teach Further Maths would be an advantage i-teachers are different from almost all other agencies as we do not cater for day-to-day supply.
