Lecturer specialism: Health and Social Care We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic individual to work as part of an innovative team. The successful applicant will teach Health and Social Care to learners on a variety of full-time and part-time courses. The successful applicant will lead on the delivery of further and higher education courses. Reporting to the Curriculum Team Manager, you will be committed to promoting excellence in the quality of standards of teaching and learning. The College offers an excellent pension scheme (TPS) and the post holder will receive up to 53 days’ paid leave per annum. Carlisle College is a further education college serving the post-16 education and training needs of Carlisle and the surrounding area. Located in the city centre, we’ve been here since 1954 and every year we help more than 2,700 students take their next steps towards their future. We offer an extensive range of vocational and academic subjects with over 100 courses available from entry level through to degrees, professional qualifications and community programmes. We provide students with facilities that reflect those found in industry, combined with teaching staff who are experts in their fields and have real-life industry experience – a perfect combination that allows our students to realise their career ambitions. We currently work with over 350 employers and over 700 apprentices in the local area.
