Our Academy of Engineering covers Agricultural, Motor Vehicle, and Large Transport Vehicle Engineering with multiple training facilities across our campus to ensure our learners are industry-focused and career-ready. The College has significantly invested in the Engineering facility, with a £7 million Advanced Engineering and Agri-Tech Centre boasting state-of-the-art facilities and equipment for teaching purposes. A new facility at our Reaseheath Engineering Apprenticeship Academy was purpose-built to accommodate the growth in demand within Large Transport Vehicle engineering. We also have an impressive five-bay and high-spec equipment facility for our Motor Vehicle cohort. About the role

We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals with strong industry and technical knowledge and experience to join our Engineering department. Due to continuous growth and investment, we now have a Lecturer / Course Manager in Engineering vacancy. Key responsibilities:

Plan, develop, and deliver Land-based Engineering curriculum content, consistent with college-approved procedures to meet learner and customer needs. Lead and guide students in a range of practical, theoretical, and assessment activities which enhance learning and exceed industry expectations. Have a flexible approach where transferable skills and knowledge are utilized across all areas of the Engineering department. Build relationships with industry and associated stakeholders to enhance the reputation of the College and maximize income streams. Aid the management team in the acquisition of resources to aid in the delivery of all programmes. The successful candidate will:

Have a period of relevant and successful time within the vocational area focusing on agricultural engineering, engines, welding and fabrication, and machinery technology. Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification within the vocational area. Have a Level 5 or 6 qualification in Engineering. Possess a relevant teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one). Have an Assessor award qualification (or willingness to work towards one). Have a relevant Internal Verifier's qualification (or willingness to work towards one). We can offer you:
