We have an opportunity for a

Legacy Manager

as part of our exciting growth plans. The role will be responsible for supporting Regional Construction and Project teams to close down live sites and estates, holding regular review meetings with Heads of services and key parties. Responsibilities and Duties include: Managing the Regional Management company and Residual land annual closed site budget Working with the Regional Construction, Project Teams, and instructed Managing Agents to hand over apartment buildings and managed areas Carrying out and supplying pre-handover inspection reports to support site teams with delivery Supporting the Regional Adoptions Manager with major legacy estate wide adoptions close out projects Managing the legacy Management Company, S106, and legal issue projects Working with support teams and consultants, as well as liaising with interested parties Providing regional support to the Fire safety Remediation Team in relation to over 11m Developer Remediation Contract (DRC) buildings and Defect Premises claims Representing Tilia Homes Eastern at resident and community meetings where Tilia are still Directors of the Management Company, including meetings out of hours Managing all Tilia Homes Eastern’s roles and responsibilities where they sit on Management Companies Board of Directors Reviewing annual budgets and accounts, escalated complaints, and major works sign offs Working with the Regional Land Team, consultants, local authorities, and members of the public to dispose of Tilia Homes residual legacy land Working with all internal departments to deliver a first-class customer journey for residents and communities on all new build housing developments with Management Companies About You

We’re looking for the following skills and experience: A degree, RICs OR relevant experience in a discipline related to UK Land, Real Estate or Town Planning Understanding of Management Companies with examples of successful working relationships Proven track record of disposal for a house builder Detailed knowledge of legislation relating to the land process Examples of land disposal/handover on favourable terms A strong network and examples of building relationships with key contacts Commercial acumen Full UK driving licence
