How will you make an impact in this role? The Global Litigation & Investigations Team at American Express is seeking a Legal Analyst to support the Global Legal Order Processing Unit Center of Excellence in the EMEA region. This role will be fully responsible for the end-to-end processing of third-party legal orders for the EMEA region, with a particular focus on supporting the German market and report to the Vice President and Senior Counsel, joining the London team. Primary responsibilities:

Set up cases in the case management system for third party legal orders received in the EMEA region. Assess the validity of the legal order in accordance with Amex procedures. Prepare correspondence to an issuer of a legal order. Evaluate legal orders and determine the scope of each request including any customer relationships and the data/documents that are responsive. Retrieve responsive data/documents from Amex platforms and prepare and timely remit responses. Comply with applicable privacy laws and Amex procedures. Closely collaborate with leaders on the progress of assigned work and raise any doubts or escalations. Perform other assigned work-related duties. Collaborate with and/or support other colleagues in the legal and business teams, in the UK, German and other EMEA markets, adopting and deploying a proactive, inquisitive and problem solving approach. Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must be fluent in written and spoken English and German. Administrative experience in a legal, compliance or similar department. Strong ability to prioritize, to discern critical matters and meet deadlines. Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word and Excel. Strong ability to quickly train on, navigate, and extract information from a variety of databases and information platforms. Excellent ability to work independently but also as a team player. Strong written and oral communication skills. Meticulous attention to detail, able to analyze and problem solve. Able to work productively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Can-do attitude, problem solving mindset.
