My client is currently looking for a Business Development Manager as they expand their portfolio of products. They are looking for candidates with a proven track record of success in a competitive sales environment. Although experience in selling into the legal and/or financial sectors is preferable, it is not essential. This company focuses on commercial law, so an interest in business and the City would be beneficial.
Key responsibilities:
Proactively research and engage with new prospects to understand their needs and how they want to work with the UK Legal Community
Qualify leads and guide them through the sales cycle
Engage with Partners and Marketing specialists in the world's top-ranked law firms
Close deals to meet individual and team targets
Maintain and update the CRM system
Accurately report and maintain a pipeline of potential clients
Represent the company at various events
Collaborate with the team to expand the portfolio
Cross-sell other products
Requirements:
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills for both internal and external contacts
Reliable, diligent, and professional when dealing with clients and colleagues
Competitive and ambitious in achieving targets
Customer-focused and effective at problem-solving
Our client operates on a hybrid basis of 3 days working in the office and 2 days working at home.
