Here at Simpson Judge we are working closely with a well-established, traditional private practice law firm that is seeking to hire an experienced Legal Cashier to join their friendly team. About the Role :
As a Legal Cashier, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of the firm's financial transactions, including but not limited to:
Processing client and office account transactions Maintaining accurate records and reconciliations Ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR) Processing payments, receipts, and bank transfers Assisting with the production of financial reports Managing petty cash and client billing procedures Providing general support to the finance team
About You :
Ideally you will have prior experience working as a Legal Cashier in a private practice environment. A strong understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules is essential. You should be organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Key Requirements :
Previous experience as a Legal Cashier (preferably within a law firm) Strong understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR) Proficient with financial software and Microsoft Office Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
