Are you an experienced Legal Cashier looking for a new opportunity to grow your career? Our client, a highly regarded regional law firm based in Solihull, is seeking a proactive and skilled Legal Cashier to join their Finance team.

This full-time, office-based role offers a salary of up to £35,000 per annum. Candidates must hold a valid driver's license and have access to their own vehicle, as occasional travel to other offices may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the operation of the firm's accounting system. Ensuring all banking is completed daily. Producing reconciliations. Posting entries to the accounts and case management systems. Raising private client invoices and producing client-to-office transfer paperwork. Handling Legal Aid invoices and processing monthly billing submissions. Managing purchase invoices efficiently. Handling client payments, including processing card payments. Assisting in file archiving. Supporting the credit control system. Liaising with the IT department to resolve staff queries and set up accounts. Performing other ad hoc tasks as required.

Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of practical accounting experience, preferably within the legal sector. Experience with purchase and sales ledgers. Basic Excel knowledge and strong computer skills. Exceptional attention to detail. The ability to manage their workload effectively with minimal supervision.
