The Role: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Coordinator to provide essential support to our dynamic legal team specializing in music and commercial contracts within a thriving kids' digital content company. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the entertainment industry and a strong understanding of administrative procedures, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Contract Management: Assist with the preparation, review, and organization of music and commercial contracts, including licensing agreements, composer agreements, and talent releases. Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records, ensuring all documents are properly filed and accessible. Track key contract dates and deadlines, providing timely reminders to the legal team. Administrative Support: Manage calendars and schedule meetings for the team, coordinating with internal and external parties. Prepare and process invoices for the team. Maintain office supplies and ensure the smooth running of the team. Communication and Correspondence: Answer emails, responding to inquiries and directing them appropriately. Draft and send routine correspondence, including letters, memos, and emails. Liaise with internal departments, external partners, and vendors on behalf of the team. Research and Information Gathering: Conduct research on legal and industry-related topics as requested. Gather and compile information for legal team projects and initiatives. Qualifications: ● 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or legal support role, preferably in the entertainment industry. ● Strong understanding of contract terminology and legal procedures. ● Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. ● Methodical, meticulous and with great attention to detail. ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ● Passion for children's television and the entertainment industry. ● A successful candidate is expected to be able to work collaboratively with colleagues in Moonbug Entertainment and across the company, build strong internal client relationships and operate under time-sensitive conditions. Bonus Points: ● Experience with copyright and advertising law. ● Familiarity with contract management software.
