Gavin Reynolds We are currently working with a fast-expanding legal firm based in Rochdale – specializing in Commercial Law, focusing on Business to Business within the Legal Industry. They are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Legal Co-Ordinator to join their team. The role is fully office-based with great progression prospects. This position offers an opportunity to work in an extremely varied role and become a key member of the team, which includes aspects of Finance, HR, Marketing, Procurement, and General Administration. What you can expect: Salary: £27-28.5k plus two annual bonus opportunities 4pm Finish Friday Modern Working Environment – including On Site Parking (free), Canteen & Coffee Shop Strong Career Progression and Development Key Responsibilities: Handle calls and greet visitors in a polite, professional, and friendly way. Diary management; booking and rearranging of meetings and events; making travel and accommodation arrangements. Contribute to the general upkeep of the office, promoting an efficient and productive environment while maintaining a focus on security and confidentiality. Ordering goods and office supplies. Assist with projects as directed by the directors from time to time. Onboarding and contract management. Helping to prepare letters of engagement and client care information. Supporting with client due diligence and know your customer checks. Keeping track of and renewing any retainer or subscription-based services. Managing the process of triaging requests for legal advice. Manage the scheduling of work and support the legal team in gathering information, sending correspondence, and general file management. Closing case files in line with the Company’s procedures. Liaise with legal cashiers in respect of office and client ledgers. Issuing invoices and sending statements and payment reminders when they become overdue. Support in procuring new services or finding better deals on arrangements already in place. Ensuring that the office is fully equipped; periodically checking stock levels and generating orders for stationery and equipment when required. Supporting with events and other business development opportunities. Assisting the Head of Partnerships in the delivery of marketing campaigns. Help organize and send starter packs for new recruits. Support the onboarding process for new recruits, such as setting up mandatory training. Profile: Must have a minimum of 1 year’s experience working in a similar office/administration environment – experience in a legal or professional services firm is a huge advantage. Strong Academic Background – any relevant degree in Legal or Business Studies would be advantageous. Good Communication/IT Skills – including Microsoft Office Package.
