Legal Counsel (5PQE+) Debt Finance - Global Business

debt transactions, trade and supply chain finance,
and other innovative forms of credit and concessional financing. You will form part of a highly respected legal team that believes in having experts in specialist areas. Therefore, if you are a passionate finance lawyer with a focus on debt transactions and are keen to maintain your practice whilst working closely with the business, then this is the perfect role for you. Responsibilities You will work on all stages of the debt investment, including structuring, negotiation, execution, indication, and general portfolio management. You'll be able to work with the business to make sure this is pursued as soon as possible. Project managing different elements of the transactions. Managing external counsel. Reviewing documentation prepared by external counsel for a range of debt transactions. What are we looking for? 5PQE+ has experience working in a recognized international law firm or financial institution. Experience in the banking practice of an international law firm and/or legal department of a global financial institution. Experience working with large corporates or financial institutions making debt investments such as
corporate lending and preferably finance, trade and supply chain finance, risk participation, debt capital markets, and structured finance. Experience reviewing, negotiating, and drafting standard LMA English law facility agreements, common terms agreements, and inter-creditor agreements (with BAFT and LMA risk participations, LMA secondary market, and bond documentation as a bonus).
