InstaVolt is the largest owner-operator of rapid electric vehicle charging stations across the UK, and we pride ourselves on customer experience and satisfaction. Our teams provide a full range of support to our stations, as well as playing a crucial role in the expansion of the network and the continuation of our reputation as the best in the industry. To support our growth, we are looking to recruit a Legal Counsel/Executive, with a great work ethic and the ability to work under their own initiative, to support our in-house legal team. This is a great opportunity to get involved with one of the fastest-growing companies in an industry that is going to see huge growth over the coming years, whether that would be making a move from private practice or working in-house previously. Role Overview:
The role will include, but is not limited to, the below tasks: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating leases with the client’s solicitor Carrying out title reviews and circulating this to the internal teams together with raising any necessary title enquiries with the Landlord’s solicitor Supporting the development of standard legal documents and templates Drafting and issuing Exclusivity Agreements Working closely with external solicitors and internal teams to ensure processes are followed throughout the lifetime of the project Conducting searches HMLR Applications Reviewing Contracts (including HoTs, AFL, and general commercial contracts) Maintaining a high level of personal integrity and drive Being team-oriented Exhibiting excellent written and spoken English Having experience of commercial leases Able to work to deadlines, prioritize own workload effectively under pressure, and manage conflicting priorities Being proactive and energetic with a tenacious approach to identifying issues and solving them Able to progress tasks using own initiative, seeking guidance and input from others where necessary Required Qualifications:
Experience of Contract and Land Law processes and procedures is essential At least 12 months of previous legal experience in a similar position Degree/CILEx educated Other benefits include:
