What would you do as our Legal Counsel EMEIA As our Legal Counsel you will provide specialist advice to senior managers and other members of the team on a variety of legal topics in relation to the business sectors and their products or services. A key part of the role will be to research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations to help guide our stakeholders. In this role you will be able to showcase your risk management techniques, negotiation skills and subject matter expertise regarding contractual agreements. You would also: Provide advice to and support commercial and product teams, draft templates, review and negotiate on all aspects of commercial agreements, particularly digital and technology services, marketing regulations and consumer rights. Prepare, negotiate and advise on all aspects relating to multiple consumer contracts and commercial matters, including dispute resolution which may arise for the R&D, digital access solutions (DAS) and Yale product teams. Keep abreast of and support EMEIA regions with regulatory developments in European and UK consumer legislation. Communicate and negotiate with external parties creating relationships based on trust and being a business-enabler. Develop a contract retention and management platform and related tools, as and when the need arises and further enhance the existing contract review procedure. The skills and experience you need We are looking for someone who: Is a qualified Lawyer in England/Wales (or Ireland) with post qualification experience gained from a reputable law firm and/or recognised in-house environment. Has advanced written and oral communication skills, including the ability to influence outcomes. Has the confidence and the ability to inspire the confidence and trust of others and conduct role with integrity. Has strong team working skills, including the willingness to pitch in and help at all levels. Has previous experience in working within a technology/manufacturing business with digital content/web environments.
