#lovewhatyoudo About the role As Legal Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in providing legal support across our operations. Your skills and experience will be crucial in supporting a broad range of legal matters, including customer and other commercial arrangements, advising on compliance matters, dispute resolution/litigation and mitigating legal risks.
This position reports directly to our Head of Legal and this is an excellent opportunity to develop your legal expertise in a fast-paced, innovative environment, working closely with teams across a dynamic and fast-growing tech business. Your Responsibilities will include: Commercial Arrangements: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of technology related contracts, including reseller agreements, SaaS agreements, and IT services agreements. Compliance Support: Assist with ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including data privacy and data protection laws. Risk Mitigation: Identify and assess potential legal risks, providing solutions-oriented advice to stakeholders to mitigate risks. Corporate Governance: Support the legal team in maintaining corporate governance records and documentation. Legal Research: Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and case law to support business decisions. Policy Development: Assist in drafting and implementing internal legal and compliance policies. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with other teams, including Sales, HR, Finance, and Operations, to ensure legal compliance. Dispute Resolution: Support the management of legal disputes and liaise with external counsel when required. Key Competencies:

Experience Required: Qualified solicitor or barrister in England and Wales (or equivalent jurisdiction). 1+ years post-qualification experience in commercial, corporate, or technology law. Solid experience in general commercial contracts. Excellent communication, negotiation and drafting skills. Experience in a fast-paced environment (in-house or private practice) and supporting technology transactions is advantageous.
