Description
Understanding the title, planning and all other relevant documents and advising on all areas of property law relating to new build developments and existing residential properties.
Carrying out legal work required for asset management of a shared ownership property portfolio, including staircasing of shared ownership leases, dealing with repossessions of shared ownership leases, and acting on assignments of shared ownership leases.
Carrying out legal reviews of title, planning, estate documents, and drafting contracts and transfers.
Carrying out legal work relating to the strategic asset management of the businesses property portfolio.
Profile
A successful 'Legal Counsel' should have:
To hold a valid Practising Certificate (or equivalent).
0-2 years + PQE working within a law firm, in-house legal department, housing association or local authority.
Strong understanding of Landlord and Tenant law and substantial experience of drafting residential leases
Experience of working with Developers is desirable
Job Offer
A competitive salary with a range of £50,000-£58,000.
Hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days in the office.
25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, with an extra day every year up to 30 days.
