General Legal Support:
Work alongside the Director of Legal to assist with legal processes across IVCC, including governance and general legal advice. Contract Management:
Take ownership of the preparation, negotiation, and execution of various contracts such as Product Development Agreements, Variations, Research Collaboration Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and more. Collaboration:
Engage with internal teams, external legal advisors, and stakeholders to ensure contracts are completed effectively and efficiently. Documentation:
Ensure legal documents are managed, signed, and stored appropriately, maintaining up-to-date records. Risk Management:
Identify potential risks in contracts and take proactive steps to mitigate them, ensuring IVCC’s interests are protected. What are we looking for? We are seeking someone who has significant experience working with contracts in a commercial environment. You’ll have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and legal practices Experience working with contract management systems and templates Experience of working within or for industry Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate confidently Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion Proficient in MS Office and SharePoint How to apply?
