Company Secretary and Legal Director

for a long, fixed-term contract starting ASAP, covering Hybrid (2 to 3 days on-site) in London. Key Requirements: Relevant Company Secretary experience, in leading the board and board committees' secretariat and corporate governance activities. Strong background in managing corporate governance frameworks and secretariat functions. Experience liaising with board members, executives, and shareholders, and attending board meetings. In-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks, including company law and governance requirements. Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality. High level of diligence and dedication to continuous improvement. Familiarity with Board Intelligence, Diligent, Blueprint, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint). Any experience in a similar role, preferably within regulatory sectors or the gas distribution/infrastructure industry would be beneficial.
