Role Summary

The Legal Entity Accountant supports the Senior Reporting Accountant and is responsible for maintaining legal entity financial records within the Region. The Legal Entity Accountant supports compliance with policies, procedures and controls (including Sarbanes Oxley compliance).

In addition, the Legal Entity Accountant is responsible for assisting and preparing for internal and external audits, assisting with tax compliance, and assisting the Senior Reporting Accountant with a wide range of ad-hoc financial projects when required.

Responsibilities

Understand Borr's vision and apply the company values in all business activities. Monitor and support with compliance with accounting policies and controls, including compliance with Sarbanes Oxley controls and associated documentation requirements. Assist the Senior Reporting Accountant during monthly and quarterly accounting closes to ensure all accounting entries are entered accurately and timely. Periodic review/preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documents/schedules and ensure timely processing of any reconciling entries. Assist with the preparation and interpretation of statutory financial statements. Prepare analysis to reconcile between IFS and statutory/fiscal books. Provide assistance and support for any internal and external audits and work with Cost Controllers and Accountants to meet reporting deadlines. Assist with tax compliance and work closely with the Corporate Tax team to ensure compliance with tax reporting deadlines. Provide support and information to other departments when requested/required to ensure accurate financial records (e.g. Supply Chain, HR, IT, Operations). Coordinates with all departments (e.g. Supply Chain, HR, IT, Operations) leading to the close out of dormant legal entities. Assist with ad-hoc projects and other tasks as required. Qualifications and Experience

Accounting and/or Finance Degree/Diploma required. Previous similar experience. Advanced MS Excel, MS PowerPoint working knowledge and ERP experience preferred. Experience creating dashboards with MS PowerBI advantageous. Strong analysis, problem solving and excellent communications skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English. Candidate must pass a drug screen and background check, if required.
