Job Description

Our client, a well-established and highly respected legal firm located in West Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to oversee their renowned catastrophic injury department and contribute to its continued success. The role is focused on leading a team of Serious Injury professionals, driving operational excellence, exceptional client service, and financial performance. Utilising effective coaching and mentoring strategies, you will ensure the team achieves its objectives in line with the firm's strategic goals and regulatory standards. This position also plays a critical role within the broader Leadership Team, supporting senior leaders to drive growth, engagement, and performance. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and inspire a team through effective management of Team Leaders, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional client service and addressing performance issues as needed. Allocate and manage resources to meet performance goals, identifying and resolving potential shortfalls proactively. Collaborate with the Senior Operations Manager to ensure consistent trading performance and maintain quality standards across the team. Oversee recruitment processes to ensure team capacity aligns with case load requirements, mitigating any potential impact on performance. Set clear objectives, address performance issues, and implement development plans to drive team success. Enhance team capability by embedding new systems, processes, and behaviours to support business transformation and change. Identify operational risks and establish strategies to mitigate potential impacts on case progression, client service, regulatory compliance, and quality. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high employee engagement, contributing to the overall operational strategy. Ensure optimal case progression through consistent application of processes and best practices across the team. Train and develop team members to enhance client outcomes, addressing any issues and implementing development actions promptly. Maintain a robust supervision framework to ensure early identification and resolution of competence, regulatory, and service issues. Collaborate with Technical Managers to provide guidance on case planning, litigation actions, and key deadline management. Undertake additional tasks as required by the business. Key Performance Indicators:

Your KPIs and objectives will be discussed and set collaboratively with your line manager. Regular one-to-one meetings will be conducted to review your performance and provide support for development. Candidate Profile:
