Legal Secretary

to work within the firm's Civil and Commercial Litigation department. You will need a strong desire to work within the legal field, specifically in Civil/Commercial Litigation, be willing to learn, and be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). This position is perfect for someone looking to start or develop their career in the legal sector while gaining valuable experience within a dynamic and supportive environment.

As a Junior Legal Secretary, you will work closely with our Litigation Solicitor, providing vital administrative and clerical support. Duties include: Assisting with typing and document preparation, ensuring all documents are accurate and prepared in a timely manner. Managing client communication via email and phone, ensuring messages are passed on and requests are handled efficiently. Scheduling appointments and maintaining solicitor calendars, including coordinating court hearings and meetings. Maintaining and organising legal files, both physical and digital, ensuring all documentation is filed correctly and can be easily retrieved. Assisting with generating bills, time recording, and keeping accurate records of time spent on client matters. Supporting the team with any administrative tasks as required to ensure smooth workflow. Handling day-to-day office tasks, including photocopying, scanning, and other ad hoc duties.
