Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Legal Secretary to join their Corporate, Commercial and Banking team on a full-time basis, office-based.

This friendly team is looking for someone with excellent secretarial skills and experience to help support the team's fee earners. Working in a pool structure, you will be responsible for supporting the team with a variety of tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

Some of your duties will include:

Formatting contracts and other documents and general document management Transcribing and proof-reading letters, emails, and other correspondence Audio typing Scanning, paginating, and photocopying File opening, ID checks, and preparation of first drafts of client care letters and other standard correspondence/documents File closing Invoicing Submitting expense claims Diary management Providing general administration support to the team

Requirements:

Good knowledge of Microsoft programs, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Willingness and confidence to use unfamiliar IT software and systems Strong document management skills, preferably legal documentation such as numbering and amending documents Confidence in formatting documents Excellent written and oral communication skills A good eye for detail Good organization and time management abilities Excellent team player Great typing skills Motivated with a strong commitment to learning

Prior secretarial experience within this area of law would be advantageous.
