What you will get in your new role In this Legal Secretary role, you will be joining an excellent team, who are currently expanding due to its ongoing success within the legal and property sectors. Starting salary for the role will be £23,000 to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience. Company benefits and definite progression opportunities are also very much part of the package.

Our client would consider an individual looking for either permanent full-time or part-time hours.

Responsibilities within your new role This is a role with great variety, but key responsibilities include: Preparation of legal documents including contracts, deeds and property transactions. Liaise and communicate with clients to gather information, explain processes, and provide updates on the progress of their property transaction. Managing pre-completion checks. Dealing with third parties such as estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors, and local authorities to facilitate transactions. Managing deadlines and tracking key milestones.

Your personality, experience and qualifications The ideal Legal Secretary candidate will have experience in a similar role of at least 1 successful year (within the Scottish market). Key skills required include audio typing, computer literacy and knowledge of packages such as Microsoft Office, high attention to detail, as well as excellent communication skills both written and verbal. To be considered you must have a suitable legal qualification such as Paralegal certification.
