Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join one of our clients' conveyancing teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling missives, deeds, Land and Buildings Transaction Tax (LBTT), securities, and registrations. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of conveyancing processes, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

Typing legal documents related to conveyancing, including missives, deeds, and securities. Logging all documents and ensuring they are accurately filed and recorded, dealing with registration of deeds. Submitting LBTT returns. Liaising with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth property transactions. Maintaining and updating client files, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. Providing administrative support to the conveyancing team, including scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining records. Assisting with the preparation of reports and other documentation as required. Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Experience using LawWare system. Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Legal Secretary within a conveyancing department. Strong knowledge of missives, deeds, LBTT, securities, and registrations. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
