We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaged Audio Typist/Legal Secretary to support a busy Conveyancing team in our Bridgend office on a full time basis. Ideally, you will have 1+ years or more experience of Audio Typing and Office Administration duties. What you’ll be responsible for:

Preparing client correspondence and documents as instructed by a Solicitor / Conveyancer through audio-typing and word processing. Listening to audio recordings and transcribe them accurately into written documents such as emails, Microsoft Word, etc. Using transcription software and equipment to aid in the transcription process. Reviewing, proofreading, and editing transcriptions for errors including spelling & punctuation, accuracy, and clarity. Formatting transcriptions according to company standards. Assisting with maintaining multiple colleague calendars. Assisting with administrative tasks as needed. Administering filing systems which will include daily printing, filing, and the opening, closing, storage, and retrieval of client files. Making photocopies and storing client documents. What we’re looking for:

Experience working as an audio typist or secretary is desirable. Experience of audio typing / transcribing and word processing is essential. Experience in the use of Microsoft Office to include Word and Outlook is essential. Experience using a client / customer / case management system is desirable. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and communication skills. Highly organised, and positive with a can-do attitude. Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
