Our client is seeking a qualified and well-versed Legionella Consultant to cover contracts in the Midlands. The company is an accredited and independent organisation, with a strong presence UK-wide. This would be a great company for those looking to join a friendly team with a healthy client portfolio. You will be undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 and producing strong accompanying reports in order to give extensive technical advice to clients. Contracts of work cover the following areas: Coventry, Rugby, Daventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Northampton, Wellingborough, Kettering, Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Coalville, Loughborough, Beeston, Nottingham, Derby, Burton upon Trent, Lichfield, Rugeley, Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Cannock, Wolverhampton, Stourbridge, Solihull, Redditch.
Experience / Qualifications:
Must be qualified with the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing Will have an excellent history of working as a Legionella Risk Assessor for a Water / Legionella organisation Hands-on experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer or Plumber would be beneficial but not essential Ideally, you will have experience with process systems such as Steam Boilers, Closed Systems and Cooling Towers Strong industry knowledge, including ACOP L8 & HSG guidelines IT proficient Good written ability
The Role: You will be conducting Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold systems Writing thorough reports, recording any found risks as well as recommendations Producing detailed schematic drawings Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring Providing technical advice to clients and answering any queries they have, as well as assisting with any problems on site Training and auditing other legionella risk assessors Maintaining a strong rapport with clients
