You will be joining an established and expanding business with the objective of undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 at client sites, mainly in the South East of England, Greater London, and the Midlands.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience of carrying out L8 risk assessments; ideally from a Legionella Consultancy background. More experienced candidates should have at least 5 years’ experience with High Risk Water Systems. Good working knowledge of commercial and industrial water systems, supplies, and water regulations governing these. An approved Legionella Risk Assessment qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, BOHS, WMSoc). Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 & Guidance Documents. Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs. Excellent communication skills. Fluent in both verbal and written English. Full UK driving license. Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with COSHH regulations / ACoP L8 / HTM 04-01 / BS 8580 -1 2019. Compiling schematic drawings, as well as validating final documents for clients/customers. Providing recommendations for the elimination, reduction, and management of risk. Collating and producing comprehensive reports and attending meetings with clients to discuss findings of reports.
