We are recruiting for a Legionella Risk Assessor in Scotland, for a leading name within the Water Compliance industry. You must have a proven track record within the industry and will need to demonstrate a high level of industry knowledge. Contracts are within the Central Belt of Scotland and cover a variety of Commercial, Local Authority and Public Sector sites. Ideally, you will be based around: Motherwell, Larkhall, Kilmarnock, Beith, Irvine, Airdrie, Cumbernauld, East Kilbride, Paisley, Clydebank, Johnstone, Renfrew, Falkirk, Stirling, Shotts, Livingston, Edinburgh, Lanark, Dunfermline, Rosyth, Kirkaldy, Bonnyrigg, Penicuik.
Experience / Qualifications:
Must hold the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing Will have strong experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor for a well-established outfit Excellent working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG guidelines IT proficient and strong written skills Professional manner
The Role:
Undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold systems and in accordance with ACOP L8 guidelines Writing bespoke risk assessment reports, outlining found risks and recommended actions to rectify Completing routine water sampling and temperature monitoring Providing a consultancy service to Clients, to discuss reports in detail and answer technical queries Assisting new and training legionella risk assessors and engineers Travelling to a mix of Client sites as required
