The Membership Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the membership process. You’ll offer a warm professional welcome to all who come through our doors. You will help to create member satisfaction for our current members along with driving membership growth through new enrolments and renewals as well as being a first point of contact for call enquiries, questions and queries. About you... Proven experience in sales, customer service, or administration, preferably in a leisure, spa or fitness environment Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills to ensure a seamless and memorable experience, proactively resolving any challenges that may arise Highly organised with excellent attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and online systems Have a passion for the industry A proactive, positive attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding member experience. Key Responsibilities to include … Membership Sales and Growth by - Actively promote and sell memberships to prospective clients. Working towards set KPIs and Targets Conduct guided tours of the facilities to highlight membership benefits. Follow up with enquiries to convert prospects into members on the phone and by email. Member Onboarding and Support by - Managing new member inductions, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. Assist members with queries about facilities, schedules, and benefits. Maintain a welcoming environment to enhance member satisfaction. Administrative Duties will include - The process of new memberships, renewals, and cancellations efficiently. Maintaining an accurate database of member information. Track, contact, convert expiring or leaving members. Generate and analyse membership reports to support operational decisions. Send out regular membership updates, communicate updates and changes to policies, schedules, and offers. Event and Promotion Coordination will include - Attending membership events and actively engage with members to enhance their experience. Contributing to creative ideas for new initiatives and events aimed at positively impacting the membership program. Assist in promoting special offers, such as seasonal packages and referral programs. Gather member feedback to improve services and offerings. Team Collaboration Work closely with the Spa & Leisure Manager to meet targets. Collaborate with spa, gym, and leisure staff to ensure a cohesive member experience. Cleaning duties for work area, spa, changing, gym, desk facilities. Assisting team when needed with temperature, water sample testing and all health and safety checks.
