Location: Hastings Our client, a reputable property management company, is seeking a Lettings Administrator with some experience to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to support the smooth operation of the lettings process and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities: Assisting in the management of the lettings process Handling tenant and landlord queries professionally, both in person, over the phone, and via email Preparing and processing tenancy agreements and related documents Coordinating property viewings and liaising with prospective tenants Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies throughout the lettings process Conducting referencing and background checks for prospective tenants Updating and maintaining accurate records of tenants, landlords, and properties within the database Assisting with property inspections and preparing inventories for new tenancies Organising and managing tenant move-ins and move-outs, including handing over keys and arranging property maintenance as necessary Managing tenant deposits in accordance with legal requirements Supporting the lettings team with administrative tasks, including filing, email correspondence, and general office duties

Key Skills: Ideally previous experience in a lettings or property administration role Some knowledge of the lettings process and relevant property legislation Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Good communication skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to quickly learn property management software A proactive, positive, and flexible attitude Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with tenants, landlords, and colleagues
