Permanent Opportunity - Lettings Consultant! Office Angels are currently recruiting for a Lettings Consultant to join our client's team, based in Durham City Centre. As a Lettings Consultant, you will be an integral part of their Lettings team, responsible for delivering a first-class experience to tenants, landlords, and contractors.Industry experience is advantageous but not required. Candidates with backgrounds in customer service, retail, or property are encouraged to apply, as these experiences are highly transferable to the role. Position: Lettings ConsultantContract Type: PermanentSalary: £23, (depending on experience), plus bonus scheme Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday (9:00 - 5:30), with rotational Saturday hours (10am - 3pm), office basedLocation: Fully office-based in Durham, public parking only. Key Duties and Requirements:As a Lettings Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors. In addition, you will:Ensure exceptional tenant and landlord experiencesManage communications via phone, email, Live Chat, and WhatsAppMaintain up-to-date lettings compliance knowledge, including conducting Right to Rent checksReceive and process new inquiries from tenants and landlordsAdvertise properties and proactively contact potential tenantsRegister applicants, arrange and conduct viewings, and provide feedback to landlordsNegotiate offers between landlords and tenantsAssist the asset management team during busy changeover periodsContribute to marketing eventsEssential: Excellent organisational skillsStrong communication skills to provide high-quality serviceAbility to see a job through from start to finishExperience in lettings (preferred)Self-motivated with the ability to work independentlyAbility to prioritise workload and meet deadlinesFlexible and adaptable approach to workTravel required between all locationsDriving licence required, and a personal car is preferredWhy join our client's team: Embrace a forward-thinking company that values innovative and strategic ideas Benefit from comprehensive training and professional development opportunities Collaborate within a supportive and innovative work culture Be part of an audaciously ambitious and growing companyIf you require reasonable adjustments at any stage, please let us know and we will be happy to support you.
