Level 2 Learning Support Practitioner – St Paul’s C of E Academy

The Trust Board are looking to appoint a caring and highly motivated Level 2 Learning Support Practitioner to join our welcoming and friendly team. FTE Salary Point 5-8 £24,790 - £25,992 Actual Salary for TTO £18,053 - £18,929 This post is 31 hours per week, term time only & fixed term (until 31.12.2025) due to SEN funding. This post involves working with 1-1 SEND pupils or to provide support within the classroom setting. The successful candidate will: Be an excellent Level 2 Learning Support Practitioner, who can motivate and inspire children. Be able to provide 1:1 and small group support for children with a range of special educational needs. Encourage and help develop independence, self-confidence, and social skills Monitor and track the progress of children Have high expectations of themselves and others and be committed to raising standards in learning and teaching. Knowledge or willingness to learn about SEN and how to support children with diverse needs A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment Demonstrate drive, ambition and openness to learning and personal development.
