To provide the correct mix of adult-led and uninterrupted child-led play to ensure the best outcomes for all our children. To provide a stimulating home from home feel environment that provides exciting opportunities, promotes challenge, exploration adventure and a real love of learning. To ensure our family ethos of providing a home from home feel, the warm and positive relationships between staff and children, consistent routines and strong relationships with parents are of key focus. To ensure that records are kept up to date and maintained appropriately. To understand and work with all nursery policies. To be a team player within our work family. To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed, in accordance with the nursery ethos, vision and values. Safeguarding: All staff have a duty to safeguard children. You should be alert to any issues or concern with regards to the welfare of a child. To report any concerns to the designated Safeguarding lead for the Nursery immediately. To attend safeguarding training and keep yourself up to date with changes to Nursery Policy. To fully understand the whistleblowing policy and report any concerns about staff immediately to the designated safeguarding lead. We are committed to safeguarding and follow a robust safer recruitment procedure. All staff are required to undertake an enhanced DBS. All staff members are also required to be signed up to the update service so continued suitability can be checked throughout employment.
