Assessment centres for shortlisted candidates will be held between February and April 2025. What will you be doing day-to-day? As an Engineering Mechatronics Technician Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of people and in a variety of roles across our various engineering departments, covering Tablets Manufacturing, Tablets Packaging, Utilities, Automation, Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering, enabling you to develop into a multi-skilled engineer. During the first year of your apprenticeship, you will attend college 1 day per week to support your workplace learning and gain an understanding of Engineering manufacturing principles and workshop safety. Following this, you will work across multiple Engineering departments, each on an approximately 6-month rotation. You will work with experienced Engineering Technicians responding to equipment breakdowns, fault finding/problem solving issues and supporting completion of routine maintenance. What do we offer you? Starting salary of £18,400 per year, increasing to £25,400 after 1 year + annual bonus based on company performance. All costs of your apprenticeship will be paid for by GSK.
