Location : Harlow Contract Type : Permanent Hours : Monday to Friday, Full time hours (37.5 hours weekly) About Us The Nursery is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children during their crucial early years. Role Summary We are seeking a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join our dynamic team temporarily. The successful candidates will play a key role in supporting the daily activities of the nursery, ensuring the children are cared for in a warm and supportive setting. Key Responsibilities Childcare : Provide high-quality care for children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental progress. Learning Activities : Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote early learning and development. Safeguarding : Follow safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the protection of all children in your care. Observation and Assessment : Monitor and record children s progress, identifying areas for individual support or development. Teamwork : Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and efficient nursery environment. Communication : Build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and carers, ensuring open lines of communication. Daily Routines : Assist with mealtimes, nappy changes, and personal care as required. Requirements Qualifications : NVQ Level 2 in Childcare or equivalent. Experience : Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. Skills : Strong communication, organization, and teamworking abilities.
